Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 22, 2026
This policy explains what Pinpoint collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions are welcome via the contact form.
What we collect
When you run a free audit we collect the business name, optional Google Maps link, and email address you submit. We also fetch publicly available information about the business from the Google Places API and the business's own website.
When you sign in or subscribe, your account (name, email, and authentication) is handled by 0p Studio's shared sign-in service. Pinpoint receives only an identifier and your email — never your password.
We log routine technical data such as IP address and browser type to prevent abuse and keep the service running.
How we use it
We use your information to generate and deliver your audit report, to operate the managed service if you subscribe, to reply to messages you send us, and to send you the report and service-related updates.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
The managed service
If you subscribe, you grant Pinpoint manager-level access to your Google Business Profile and the social accounts you choose to connect. We use this access solely to perform the optimization work described on this site. You may revoke that access at any time.
Data sharing & processors
We use trusted third-party processors to run Pinpoint — including hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing (Stripe), and AI providers used to generate report copy. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.
Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe; Pinpoint never sees or stores your full card number.
Retention
Audit reports and account data are retained while your relationship with Pinpoint is active. We do not delete your data as a side effect of a billing lapse. You may request export or deletion of your data at any time.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, use the contact form and choose the “Privacy / data request” category.
